A round of Ruurlo

In the vicinity of Ruurlo it is wonderful to cycle through the bocage landscape of the Gelderse Achterhoek. You can get off at various places along the way for a special experience. You start at CactusOase Covered Experience Park, a 6000 m2 cactus paradise. A special experience: you will find a piece of desert here, in the middle of the Achterhoek. After you have taken a look here, you cycle through the countryside to Ruurlo. Along the way you will pass Ruurlo Castle, which once started as a settlement in a vast area with forests and swamps. Today it is a pleasant town with a beautiful historic core in which the fourteenth-century Dorpskerk is located. You will discover the area through the beautiful and quiet outdoor area and eventually you will arrive back at Covered Experience Park CactusOase.
