Round Mark and Annabosch

Your route starts at B&B Wilgenhart. From here you continue to the river De Mark. The natural meandering course of the Mark has been restored about 15 years ago, which has improved the fish stock in the Mark. Step off to enjoy the view from the bridge at the height of the Mastbos near Ulvenhout. The Mastbos dates back to the sixteenth century. You will see stately beech avenues, but also coniferous trees. The forest was managed for hunting and, just like the Sint-Annabos through which you cycle a little later, for the production of wood. Both forests are extremely valuable, like natural museum pieces. You also cycle through the Ulvenhoutse Bos, with its old sessile oaks and beeches. A beautiful route in the summer, nice and shady cycling along the water!
