Along both banks of the IJssel you will find beautiful old towns and plenty of natural beauty. For example, you drive through Steenderen, where you see the medieval St. Remigius Church. Bronkhorst likes to present itself as the smallest city in the Netherlands and is home to many old buildings. Step off for a moment to fully enjoy the historic atmosphere. You then cycle along the floodplains along the IJssel. In a number of places you can enjoy the view over the river from the dike. On the other side of IJssel you make a small climb onto the Veluwe. Cycling in the vast forests is wonderfully peaceful. You drive back to the IJssel via beautiful Brummen. Finally, you can take a look at the Sint-Willibrordus Church from 1870. And eat something tasty at Grand Café Bij Ludger.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
