Tour of the Vechtdal and border area by bike

Your route starts at Holiday Park't Rheezerwold. You can enjoy nature reserves and sights in the varied landscape of the Vechtdal. In a wide winding it goes towards Gramsbergen. The charm of the Vechtdal is hidden in the small-scale landscape: you cycle from a farmyard past swaying reed plumes to a vista, via a wooded area to a farm with a hedge and another vista. Just before you cycle into the hamlet of Ane, you will pass De Anermolen. This corn mill was built in 1858 but completely burned down in 1864 - on New Year's Day. The mill has since been completely rebuilt. Rheeze is one of the most beautiful green villages in Overijssel. It is a beautiful sight, those ancient Saxon farms surrounded by meadows and stately old trees.
