Your route starts at Gast Tweewielers. From here you cycle into the beautiful Springendal. This nature reserve is nicknamed the 'Garden of the Netherlands'. You can indulge yourself romantically with the beautiful views and winding spring streams. The picturesque center of Ootmarsum has a protected villagescape, you will see many beautiful monumental buildings. Time seems to stand still a bit here. The vast landscape of Twente is ideal for a beautiful bike ride. Get off at Het Stift van Weerselo. From the fourteenth century onwards, unmarried noble ladies were provided with a good education in this monastery. Herinckhave is located near Tubbergen. It dates from 1743, with a large number of additions from the 19th century. The cellars probably date from a predecessor of the current house.
