Tour of the Gelderse Vallei Noord from Voorthuizen

Your cycling route starts at Ackersate Holiday Park. In general, you can enjoy cycling in the Veluwe, but the areas just outside the Veluwe are also worth exploring. How about a bike ride through Barneveld, Voorthuizen and along the edge of the Veluwe? This route takes you along the most beautiful places in the Gelderse Vallei. The Gelderse Vallei consists of different parts and this cycle tour takes you through the Northern Valley. The landscape is low-lying and therefore the area is originally very wet. Some places in the valley refer to this history. For example, the name Barneveld originally meant 'open area where water wells up'. Nowadays you mainly see grassland and small forest and heathland areas.
