Walking route through Eibergen and surroundings

The charm of Eibergen can be discovered well with a walk. First you come through walking park De Maat. You cross the Berkel, along the rippling water it is wonderfully quiet walking. You pass the Mallumse Molen, a monumental corn and hulling mill from 1748. The associated lock also dates from 1748. On country roads you walk further through the beautiful countryside. You come through the hamlet of Loo where you see several beautiful old farms. On an unpaved path you walk along the Ramsbeek that flows further into the Berkel. Back in Eibergen you come along the Oude Mattheüskerk and Museum de Scheper that is located in a characteristic villa and an adjacent authentic farm. At Grand Café De Klok Patisserie it is time for a terrace.
