Walking route through Eibergen and surroundings

The charm of Eibergen can be easily discovered with a walk. First you pass through De Maat walking park. You cross the Berkel, and it is wonderfully peaceful to walk along the rippling water. You pass the Mallumse Molen, a monumental corn and peeling mill from 1748. The associated lock also dates from 1748. You continue walking along rural roads through the beautiful countryside. You pass through the hamlet of Loo where you see some beautiful old farms. You walk along an unpaved path along the Ramsbeek, which flows further into the Berkel. Back in Eibergen you will pass the Old Matthew Church and Museum de Scheper, which is located in a characteristic villa and an adjacent authentic farm.
