There is an ideal cycling landscape around Oirschot: an old cultivated land of meadows, veined by streams. Jump on the saddle and come and discover it for yourself! After you have loosened your legs, you arrive at junction 9 at the Dal van de Beerze. You drive through Spoordonk, further on you pass the Chapel of the Sacred Oak in the middle of the forest. In 1406, two shepherds are said to have found a statue of Mary in the Beerze and placed it in an oak tree. It is not without reason that Oirschot enjoys a protected village view. You will see many beautiful buildings there. Such as the centuries-old Town Hall and St. Peter's Basilica. Finally, you cycle through the Mortelen: a small-scale scenic landscape of poplar groves, coniferous forests and grasslands and arable lands. Time for a terrace at Hoeve 1827.
