Round bulb region and dunes Noordwijkerhout

Your route starts at Brasserie Matt\\\'s on the Kagerplassen. Noordwijkerhout is a cozy place to grab a drink on a terrace. Here you see the White Church from 1300. Just outside Noordwijkerhout you pass Lake Como, as the recreational area Oosterduinse Meer is called by the locals. Further west you cycle through the woods of the Hollands Duin. In the background you occasionally hear the surf of the North Sea, a wonderful sound. In the Bollenstreek it is sometimes like cycling through a painting. Spring is ushered in here with the flowering of crocuses, then tulips, daffodils and hyacinths give the area a brilliant hue. Gladiolus, dahlias and carnations ensure a colorful late summer. The route also passes Keukenhof.
