Description

The largest town on your route is Borculo. Prince Willem V of Orange-Nassau purchased the Borculo seigneury in 1777. That is why King Willem-Alexander still bears the title'Lord of Borculo\\\'. Just below the village of Neede you pass Huize de Kamp, the current building dates from 1636. The route also takes you through the village of Haarlo, where the residents call the octagonal monumental church De Kluntjespot (sugar bowl). The Wolink is a typical Achterhoek camp landscape with an old farm as its epicenter. In Geesteren, take a look at the Reformed Church, which originally dates from the eleventh century!
