Description
First you cycle through the picturesque Thorn. This town has a historic center with white houses and many authentic buildings. You cross the border with Belgium, after a few beautiful kilometers you pass through Maaseik with its beautiful historic Market. Back in the Netherlands you drive across the Island in the Maas. You come here through Ohé and Laak, further on you pass the Hompesche Molen. In Stevensweert you experience the atmosphere of a bygone era. Here you can visit the Streekmuseum Stevensweert/Ohé en Laak to find out more about this region. In Maasbracht you pass the Maas and shipping museum. In picturesque Wessem you are welcome at Gasterie De Knip.
