Nearby you will discover the German War Cemetery. The other side of the battle – the German – is clearly felt here. Nearby you will cycle through the beautiful forest area of the Stippelberg, named after the many sand hills that lie here like dots in the landscape. You will discover the eastern part: a real estate, complete with a country house and stately avenues. You will continue via Meerselo and the Loobeekdal. Then you will cycle along the highest point of De Peel: De Paardekop. The area is varied and diverse, with higher and lower, dry and damp heathland. The name 'De Paardekop' comes from a legend about a battle that took place in the area between riders. Many skulls of horses were said to have been found there.
