Description
Nearby you will discover De Middelste Molen in Loenen, the only authentic water-powered paper mill in the Netherlands. On the Veluwezoom, the differences in height provide impressive views over rolling heathlands. It is not for nothing that it is a national park! From here you cross over to the Loenermark. This is a beautifully varied area with, in addition to forests, rolling heathlands and a sheepfold. Get off here to experience the atmosphere, in the middle of nature. Just before the end point, also take a look at the Loenense waterfall: the highest waterfall in the Netherlands. This reduces the flow in the Vrijenbergerspreng that you have just cycled past, which has a drop of about 15 meters over a length of 6.5 km. Special to see!
