Tour of Heuvelland from Vaals

Your route starts at Bikes4fun. This route leads you through a beautiful hilly area with small villages and half-timbered houses. You cycle through the valleys of the Geul and Gulp, a branch of the Geul. They meander beautifully through the rolling landscape. Via Vijlen (with the highest church tower in the Netherlands) you drive past the half-timbered houses in the hamlet of Bommerig to Epen. A real tourist village, just like Slenaken a little further on. On the outskirts of Maastricht you will pass the Gronsveld: one of the five remaining tower mills in the Netherlands. This unique sight dates back to 1623. You will find the Hoeve Sint-Antoniusbank in the hamlet of Sint-Antoniusbank. The oldest parts of this mansion date back to the 17th century and the newest parts were built in the 19th century.
