Navigate around the border

Your route starts at Henk Baars Bike-Sports Bicycle Rental, Sales & Maintenance. You immediately cycle through the Gorp en Roovert Estate, a mosaic of deciduous and coniferous forests, fields and grasslands. You follow the beautifully meandering Rovertse Leij through the forest to the south into Belgium. Further on you pass through the Belgian Poppel, a nice village where you can admire the striking town hall. Then you follow the border north, through a beautiful rural area. This way you drive through the Nieuwkerk estate, where there are some beautiful farms and a beautiful monastery in the middle of the forest. Nieuwkerk is partly located in the Netherlands, partly in Belgium. The hamlet owes its name to the border church that was built here in 1652. Catholics from Tilburg could go here to practice their faith.
