Tour of Anholt Castle and Huis Bergh

You can cycle leisurely to Gendringen past meadows and fields. Here you can see, among other things, the beautiful St. Martin's Church. You can stop off at Cafetaria Te Pas for a meal or ice cream. Further on you cycle along the Oude IJssel, where you enjoy the natural beauty. You make a shortcut through Germany where you pass Anholt Castle. There is a museum in this old moated castle. A little further on you will pass Huis Landfort, a castle and estate from the fifteenth century. The monumental house was extensively renovated in the eighteenth century. You drive back via Kasteel Huis Bergh. The thirteenth century fortress is half enclosed by a rampart. There is also a moat around it for extra defense.
