Tour of the Holy Triangle and star forest Warande

Your route starts at Smaak Lokaal. You immediately dive into Boswachterij Dorst. In Oosterhout you pass through the Holy Triangle. There are three abbeys in this protected village view: the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwe abbey, the Sint-Paulus abbey and the Catharinadal, which is located in the ancient small castle De Blauwe Camer. What a special place! You then cycle through the rural area and the leafy banks of the Wilhelmina Canal to Dongen and Tilburg. You drive along the edge of the Oude Warande, built in 1712, one of the few well-preserved star forests in the Netherlands. You follow a piece of Bels Lijntje, a cycle path over a former rail connection to Belgium, through the greenery. Via the small village of Heikant you drive back to your starting point in Rijen.
