De Wildenborch Castle is the first highlight you cycle past. The first mention of the house dates from 1372. The castle was strategically located in the middle of swamps, making it an ideal shelter after raids. The estate, with an area of approximately 300 hectares, is freely accessible. Stelkampsveld nature reserve is a beautiful varied area with forest, grassland, heathland with fens, high-altitude small fields. Rare plants such as parnassia, bell gentian and the spotted orchid space make it a Natura 2000 area. Around junction 58 you drive through Landgoed Het Beekvliet. Here you will see a mosaic of farmland, deciduous and coniferous forests, impressive tree-lined avenues and hedgerows. A little later you will pass the point where the Slinge flows into the Berkel.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
