Description
Knegsel is a village that is part of the municipality of Eersel.
Until 1997 it belonged to the municipality of Vessem, Wintelre and Knegsel.
The immediate vicinity of Knegsel is wooded. The original, small-scale network of country roads and paths, especially south of the village, is still largely intact. The landscape offers a variety of pieces of forest, fields and hedgerows.
Knegsel is traditionally formed by a number of hamlets,"hoeken\\\" called.
