Tour of Middelbeers, Oisterwijk and Spoordonk

From Middelbeers, you cycle through the Beerse Heide to Haghorst. You cross the Wilhelmina Canal, after which you cycle north through an agricultural landscape. Here lies the Oisterwijk Forests and Fens, a nature reserve where you'll find a mix of fens, old stream valleys, and woodland. Along the way, you'll pass through Oisterwijk, a town with a long history, reflected in the beautiful monuments along De Lind. From junction 45, you cycle along the expansive heathland that is part of De Kampina. Just past Spoordonk, you pass the Chapel of the Holy Oak in the heart of the forest. It's said that two shepherds found a statue of the Virgin Mary here in De Beerze in 1406 and placed it in an oak tree. Via Oostelbeers, you return to Lunchroom & IJssalon Meesterlijk.
