Description
Via the'como lake\\\' this route passes'Keukenhof estate\\\' in Lisse. Via beautiful'indoor roads\\\' the route ends at the ring canal. Along the ring canal you drive the last part to'Buitenkaag\\\'. Here you can take the ferry to'Kaag Island\\\' to visit the island. These kilometers are in addition to the 25 km of the indicated route. :)
Kaag Island
Kaag is the oldest of all village centers in the municipality of Kaag en Braassem.Kaag is in most cases called Kaageiland. Since the Kagerplassen are nearby, Kaageiland is an excellent base for water recreation. There are marinas, sailing schools, boat rentals and restaurants. Furthermore, the sailing competitions of the annual Kaagweek are known both nationally and internationally. Experience this picturesque village island, pay a visit or get an ice cream at the cheese farm and drive past the impressive shipyard of'van Lent\\\'.
Stepped back from the ferry, the route goes back along the ring canal to drive through the polder to Sassenheim. The route here deviates from the'junctions\\\' so take a good look at the map. :)
From Sassenheim the route goes back to the village center of Noordwijkerhout.
