Tour of Beerzedal and Spoordonk

Put on your sturdy and waterproof walking shoes for a beautiful trip through the Brabant countryside. First you walk your legs in a landscape of fields, meadows and forest plots. At junction 23 you walk into the Beerze Valley. Here you will find plenty of variety between moist forests and grasslands. You also look out for a while on swampy meadows that may flood. It is wonderfully quiet here along the stream. Just before Spoordonk you pass the Spoordonkse Watermolen from 1868. It is the only watermill on the Beerze. In Spoordonk you will see some long-facade farms, and you will also pass the Sint-Bernadette Church from 1936. You walk through the farmland back to Hoeve 1827. Time for a nice terrace and a delicious meal.
