Description
Your cycle route starts in the atmospheric village of Landsmeer. Nearby you can enjoy a cup of coffee at Café de Driesprong. Cycling is wonderful in this region. For example, you can drive straight into the Zaanstreek. Oostzaan is a special village. Close to Amsterdam and yet located in the middle of nature. Discover the beautiful surrounding peat meadow areas Het Twiske and Oostzanerveld by bike. Take a break in the village of Oostzaan, browse the shops or learn more about Oostzaan's colorful history in the Grote Kerk. Did you know, for example, that the inhabitants used to earn their money on the bleaching fields and whaling? The village used to even have a real pirate as a resident! Via the nice Broek in Waterland you cycle back to your starting point.
