Your route starts at De Dansende Kater in Bad Nieuweschans With its wealth of nature and culture, the Groningen region of the Oldambt is an ideal hiking region. From here you can quickly walk to Nieuw-Beerta. This village enjoys a protected village view. Centrally located in the grain republic, it is a village of extremes such as rich-poor, large-small and certainly also present and future. If you want, walk a bit further and take a look at the Waterstaatskerk, reformed, which was built at the end of the thirteenth century in Nieuw-Beerta. At Hoofdweg 103 you will see a beautiful transverse farmhouse of the Oldambtster type. The front house was built in 1900, the main barn is half a century older.
