Panorama with wide view. The town of Waldheim, also called the pearl of the Zschopau valley, is surrounded by numerous wooded heights with beautiful viewpoints. The Waldheimer Höhenrundwanderweg is one of the many developed hiking options. The approximately 12 km long circular walk follows the yellow marking and takes the hiker from the Art Nouveau town hall in the city center to the various mountain ranges. A total of about 350 vertical meters are climbed. The Carola and Schillerhöhe, the Spitzberg and the Kreuzfelsen and the Wachberg with its viewing towers guarantee a fascinating view of the idyllic surroundings. On the Lutherhöhe a top book is waiting for you to write down your hiking experiences.
