Panorama with a wide view. The town of Waldheim, also known as the pearl of the Zschopau valley, is surrounded by numerous wooded heights with beautiful viewpoints. The Waldheimer Höhenrundwanderweg is one of the many developed hiking possibilities. The approximately 12 km long circular walk follows the yellow markings and takes the hiker from the Art Nouveau town hall in the centre of the town to the various mountain ranges. A total of approximately 350 metres in altitude are climbed. The Carola and Schillerhöhe, the Spitzberg and the Kreuzfelsen and the Wachberg with its viewing towers guarantee a fascinating view of the idyllic surroundings. On the Lutherhöhe there is a top book ready for you to write down your hiking experiences.
