Cycling route Veere and surroundings (derivative)

<p>The Veerse Meer is located in the heart of Zeeland. This lake was once a wild estuary, now an attractive water sports destination for surfers, sailors, water skiers, divers and anglers. There are several large and small uninhabited islands in the brackish water of the lake. With a total bank length of 55 kilometers, the Veerse Meer is particularly suitable for a wonderful bike ride. The cycle path is parallel to the water almost the entire way. Along the way you will see numerous sailing boats and surfers skimming over the blue water. And in the beautiful old fortified town of Veere, the streets with historic facades are reminiscent of a prosperous past.</p>
