Ommetje Beerzedal Bladel +/- 16.5 kilometers
Start at junction no. 5 in the center of Bladel near the Tourist Information Point
Sturdy shoes recommended (partial boot path)
The Groote Beerze flows between the village centers of Hapert and Bladel,
where the kingfisher is regularly spotted.
(between junctions 93 and 24) you will pass a Grain Mill Stone ground sailor from +/- 1896, which can be viewed every 1st and 3rd Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
At the southernmost point of this detour is the Ten Vorsel Estate, approximately 220 hectares in size. The part north of the Bredasebaan consists of meadows and farms. The middle part of the estate consists of [convex] fields, meadows and a hamlet Ten Vorsel. The southern part consists of forests and meadows. On the east side, the estate borders the stream valley landscape of the Aa or Goorloop.
Ten Vorsel is home to the only Protestant chapel in the Netherlands.
It is dedicated to Francis of Assisi. A bat bunker has been built in the forest of the estate. Where the Long-eared Bat and Fringe-tailed Bat have been spotted.
