Description
Your route starts with a beautiful passage through the Langenboomse Bossen. On Tongelaar Estate you will find a castle fortress, surrounded by beautiful farms. It feels a bit like the French countryside here. Tongelaar Castle is open on Wednesdays & Sundays, when the castle can be visited with a coffee house, terrace and field shop. You will also find an information point for the Brabant Landscape in the tower fort. Then you cycle on to Uden, a beautiful town with a special location on the Peel Edge Fault. Stop here for a cup of coffee or lunch at Hotel Brasserie Verhoeven before you cycle into De Maashorst. In the middle of this varied and extensive nature reserve you can visit the Slabroek Nature Center to learn more about this unique landscape park in a monumental farm.
