From Urmond you cross the Juliana Canal and drive to charming Berg aan de Maas. You then cycle past meadows and fields along the course of the Maas. On the right side of the road you pass Kasteel Obbicht, a country house that originally dates from 1780. Via Grevenbicht you drive back towards the Juliana Canal. You cross the lock complex, after which the route takes you through Born and Holtum. You pass the monumental Pool Mill, which is located on the Geleenbeek. Further on you drive across the impressive driveway of Kasteel Limbricht. At the end are the outer bailey of the castle and the picturesque old village center of Limbricht. You drive back to Urmond through rural Limburg.
