From Urmond you can take a beautiful route through Dutch and Belgian Limburg. First you drive to Stein. Here you can admire the St. Martin's Church and the beautiful surroundings around the castle ruins. Then you can travel for miles along the Juliana Canal. From Geulle aan de Maas you cross the river into Belgium. You will soon enter Hoge Kempen National Park. You make a climb, after which you can enjoy the vast forests, heathlands and the silence at your leisure. You cycle through Eisden-Tuinwijk, an old mining district. You drive back towards the Netherlands along the Maas bank. In Oud-Urmond you can still taste the atmosphere of times gone by.
