Tour of Wessem, Stevensweert and Thorn

This route takes you through a number of picturesque towns that lie like pearls on the Maas. First, you cycle to Wessem. In this former fortified town, you can still see many monumental buildings. You cross the Maas, via Maasbracht you cycle to Stevensweert. This town also has a rich history. What is special is of course that it is located on an island in the Maas. After cycling through Laak, you cross the Maas again, this time to Belgium. You cycle via Geistingen and Kessenich to Thorn, the famous white town. You will encounter a unique atmosphere here. Take a look at the fourteenth-century Abbey Church and then cycle into the countryside, where you cycle past flowery meadows back to Resort Boschmolenplas.
