4. Bergen op Zoom - Den Bosch - Amstel Radler, Tour de Hollande

This is a stage with a lot of Tour history. From Bergen op Zoom we go straight through the West of Brabant, in a salute to many Dutch yellow jersey wearers. Today we pass through the birthplaces of Wim van Est (Fijnaart), Jacques Hanegraaf and Johan van der Velde (both Rijsbergen), Wout Wagtmans (Rucphen), Jelle Nijdam (Zundert) and Rini Wagtmans (St. Willebrord). We continue our way through the Loonse and Drunense Duinen and take in a small piece of Mastbos under Breda. Breda was the starting point of the very first Amstel Gold Race in 1966. On the day the men cross the cobblestones in France, we drive through Vlijmen (the birthplace of Lars Boom, who won the cobbled stage last year). We end in Den Bosch, past the Brabanthallen, the place where the Tour started in 1996 and half Dutchman Alex Zülle won the prologue.
