Description

Trade seems insignificant at first glance, yet it is a great Marian pilgrimage site. Thousands of visitors come every year. Behind the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption is a procession park in which the'miraculous well\\\' is located, which is said to contain water with a medicinal effect. You cycle to Aarle-Rixtel via small hamlets such as Grotel and Speurgt. You then pass through Croy, a hamlet where you can admire old farms and an imposing castle from the fifteenth century. Take a break at Lunchcafé & Patisserie Beyond, in cozy Nuenen! In Gemert you can view the Castle of Gemert. The main building of this castle was built in 1740 on a cellar vault of the original castle from 1391. The front gate was built around 1600.
