Between Valkenburg and Vaals you will experience the charm of the South Limburg Hills. First you cycle your legs in the Vijlenerbos. In Bommerig you can see old half-timbered houses and have a beautiful view of the Geuldal. You then drive to Gulpen via Mechelen. You will see many monumental buildings here. Just before junction 68 you drive through one of the reserves that have been specially set up for the endangered corn wolf. Further on you drive through the picturesque Valkenburg, after which you cycle through the equally beautiful Geuldal. Here you will see Schaloen Castle, among others. The last part of the route takes you through Orsbach, Germany. Lemiers is partly located in Germany, partly in the Netherlands. The old center enjoys a protected village view.
