Route Vechtdal: Beerze and Rheeze

In the beautiful Overijsselse Vechtdal you will find camping site De Kleine Wolf, with the attractive brasserie De Wolventuin. Around the Overijsselse Vecht you drive through a landscape of flowery meadows, hedgerows and quiet forests. You cycle through the Rheezermaten, a nature reserve on the Vecht with flower-rich grasslands. Rheeze is without a doubt one of the most beautiful villages in Overijssel. Step off to fully enjoy the charming view: centuries-old Saxon farms surrounded by meadows and stately old trees. In the Vechtdal you drive through a picturesque landscape. You also pass through the hamlets of Junne and Beerze, which still largely consist of old thatched Saxon farms. Junne came into the possession of Delta Lloyd in the late 1930s, which used the houses as holiday homes for their employees.
