A tour of the Eerde and Den Ham estates

Your cycle route starts at camping site de Kleine Wolf, with the atmospheric brasserie de Wolventuin. The Eerde estate once counted 150 hectares, from the Vecht to the Regge. The castle is still as imposing as ever. Huis Eerde was already known in 1227 and was expanded into a castle in 1380. The castle was besieged, plundered, burned down and rebuilt many times, until it took on its current form in 1715. There is also a hall house farm from the 8th century on the estate. Then you continue your tour around the village of Den Ham in Overijssel. This green village is perhaps the most beautiful village in the entire province and it is centrally located at the three-country point of the Vechtdal, Twente and Salland. So definitely stop here!
