Description
First you walk into the authentic Drenthe esdorp Zwinderen. Nearby you can dive into nature around the Loopdiep and the tranquil Gees forestry. Fens glisten between the deciduous trees, here and there the forest breaks open for a heath. From here you walk to another beautiful esdorp: Gees. Here you see something typically Drenthe: a boulder. This specimen is almost four meters long and over two meters high. It is the largest in Drenthe. The village has a protected village view, so take the time to look around!
