Round Geul and Schweibergerbos

Your route starts at Geulhof Mechelen. On the other side of the Geul lies the picturesque Mechelen, a village where you can see characteristic half-timbered houses and where the church stands on a church hill. You walk to Epen along the beautifully meandering Geul. Landgoed Schoutenhof offers you a beautiful view of the hills and forests that connect directly to the park of the estate. In Höfke and Schweiberg, the centuries-old half-timbered houses give you the feeling that time has stood still a bit here. The route leads, among other things, through the Schweibergerbosch, a real slope forest. The gravel farm Bissen is located in the Schweibergerbos. When you walk out of the slope forest, you can enjoy lovely views over the valley.
