Cycling route: 2155527
Provided by: route.nl
Your route starts at Camping De Vledders. Heathlands, sand drifts, alder groves, traditional villages complete with village greens, and hay meadows full of yellow buttercups and red sorrel in the spring: the Drentsche Aa National Landscape is beautiful. Because the Drentsche Aa is partly fed by groundwater seepage, as many as 800 different plant species can be found there. You will also discover the Zuidlaardermeer; the view over the water immediately creates a completely different atmosphere. In Noordlaren, Groningen, you will see several characteristic old farmhouses and buildings. The Bartholomeus Church originally dates from the thirteenth century. Further on, you pass through the protected village landscape of Zuidlaren. Here you will see Huis Laarwoud; the current manor house dates from the seventeenth century. On the village green stands the church, the nave of which still dates from the Middle Ages.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
