A tour of authentic streets in the farmland

Your route starts at De Menmoerhoeve. After a nice shortcut through the nature behind the farm, you arrive at the Muizenweg. A little further on you take a sandy path along a beautiful small-scale landscape of farm fields. You cross the Turfvaart. From the fourteenth to the seventeenth century, plenty of peat was extracted in the Pannenhoef nature reserve. Everything was transported in dried form (peat) via peat barges to Breda and Roosendaal as fuel for households and breweries. Shortly afterwards a beautiful winding sandy path leads you through a forest. This is the Koekoekstraat, a beautiful authentic road with its cobblestones and farms. You will come across more streets like this, wonderful! You can fully enjoy the sun in the open farmland.
