Your walk starts at Huize Glory in Bergen aan Zee. You first walk a bit through Bergen aan Zee, you experience the real seaside resort feeling here. You will pass the Parnassia Park, a beautiful botanical garden where more than 200 plant species grow. So worth a visit. Then you walk along the beach. Get a breath of fresh air before you walk into the rugged and wooded dunes. After a cup of coffee or lunch at Huize Glory - with a sea view from the terrace - you can walk straight into the Schoorlse Duinen. Dozens of bird species breed here, such as the ever-smiling green woodpecker and the rare nightjar. In recent years, coniferous trees have been replaced by birch, oak and shrubs in some places. It makes your walk a lot more varied and natural!
