Tour of Nuenen and Geldrop

Your route starts at Lunchcafé & Patisserie Beyond. Today you will get to know some cozy Brabant villages such as Geldrop, Mierlo and Heeze. You also cycle through beautiful quiet nature reserves such as the extensive Strabrechtse Heide. A beautiful combination of nature and culture. Hulsterbroek is a swampy stream valley area of the Kleine Dommel. On the other side of the Eindhovens Kanaal you cycle through the swamp forest of the Urkhovense Zeggen. The Collse Molen, a double undershot water mill, is a nice place to get off. This mill from the seventeenth century served as an oil and flour mill. Just past Mierlo you enter the Strabrechtse Heide, a vast moorland with only beautiful fens. Maybe you will come across the shepherd with his herd of Kempense Heideschapen!
