Tour of Nuenen and Geldrop

Your route starts at Lunchcafé & Patisserie Beyond. Today you will be introduced to some pleasant Brabant villages such as Geldrop, Mierlo and Heeze. You also cycle through beautiful, quiet nature reserves such as the extensive Strabrechtse Heide. A beautiful combination of nature and culture. Hulsterbroek is a swampy stream valley area of the Kleine Dommel. On the other side of the Eindhoven Canal you cycle through the Urkhovense Zeggen forest. The Collse Molen, a double undershot watermill, is a nice place to take a break. This mill from the seventeenth century served as an oil and corn mill. Just past Mierlo you drive onto the Strabrechtse Heide, a vast heathland plain with some beautiful fens. You might even meet the shepherd with his flock of Kempense Heath sheep!
