Discover culture and history in Wallonia. This long-distance route is divided into eleven stages and you choose how many stages you want to cycle. This cycle route leads past Unesco-recognized heritage, the best sights and the most beautiful villages. The route runs from Tournai (Tournai) near Lille in France to Blegny above Liège near the Dutch border. In Tournai you start at the 850 year old cathedral and along the way you pass beautiful castles such as Beloeil. You can enjoy a drink on the cozy Grand Square in Mons (Mons) and discover this impressive hydraulic lift at the Strépy-Thieu boat lift. Not to be missed are the hanging gardens of Thuin, the unique street art in Charleroi and of course Dinant and Durbuy! Nature lovers enjoy the Hainaut plains and the Unesco Global Geopark Famenne-Ardenne. Burgundians enjoy moments of rest in a brewery such as Maredsous or in the sun on the banks of the Meuse.
