Tour of Aachen, Drielandenpunt and Moresnet from Vaals

Your e-bike route starts at Bikes4fun, where you can immediately rent an e-bike. You cycle into Wallonia via Aachen. Just like in Limburg, you also regularly see roadside chapels and monumental half-timbered houses in Belgium. In the village of Moresnet there are still houses built with local quarry stones. The beautiful St. Remigius Church dates from 1673. Near Gemmenich you drive through the Preuswald. There was a mini-state here between 1816 and 1920: Neutral-Moresnet. In this then border area there was a zinc mine that was claimed by the Netherlands and Germany. After Belgium's independence, the mini-state suddenly bordered three countries. As a result, there was suddenly a Four-Country Point at the current Three-Country Point.
