E-bike route: round Margraten from Vaals

Your e-bike route starts at Bikes4fun, where you can immediately rent an e-bike. From here you set course for the authentic hamlet of Holset. Via Vijlen (with the highest church tower in the Netherlands) you drive into the Vijlenerbos on the Vijlenerberg. Take a break at Boscafe't Hijgend Hert, the only mountain café in the country! Via nice places such as Epen, Slenaken and Noorbeek you cycle to the village of Mheer, once voted one of the ten most beautiful villages in the Netherlands. For example, you will see the seventeenth-century St. Lambertus Church, with the fourteenth-century Mheer Castle behind it. Further on, get off at the Margraten American Cemetery, the only American cemetery in the Netherlands. Most died in WWII. On the way back you cycle through the beautiful old Aachen.
