Tour of Low Kippah and Hummelo

Your walking route starts at Het Wapen van Heeckeren. After a cup of coffee, put on your walking shoes. First you walk through the Kruisbergse Bossen. In addition to nature, you will also encounter a lot of history on your path today. Laag-Keppel is a monumental hotspot. Here you can see Keppel Castle, which originally dates from 1350. After this castle was destroyed in 1582, it was rebuilt in the 17th century. Further on are two old mills: a water mill from the nineteenth century, with the Follega mill from 1857 right next to it. After a short cut through the forest, you walk into another nice town: Hummelo. Here you will pass the beautiful village church from 1839. The village has a protected townscape, you will find a nice historic atmosphere here.
