Your cycle route starts at Hengelo in Gelderland. It is wonderfully quiet in the polders around Steenderen, Toldijk and Baak. In Toldijk you can take a coffee break at Café Restaurant Den Bremer. Bronkhorst likes to profile itself as the smallest town in the Netherlands. Anyway, it is certainly one of the most beautiful towns! In the IJssel valley, the kilometers seem to slip under your wheels by themselves. It is wonderful to cycle through the flowery floodplains. From the dike you have a beautiful view over the water. And you can see the Veluwezoom rising on the other side of the water. A mighty view. On the way back you drive through Landgoed Kieftskamp, a beautiful rural area with many old trees, a country house from the 18th century and historic farms.
