The Oisterwijkse Bossen & Vennen are ideal for a short refreshing walk with the kids. There is plenty to see along the way. You will pass the Lammerven, among other things. Lambs used to be washed here. After all, clean wool yielded more money. Just like in many other forests, a small stream flows here: the Rosep. You walk on the left bank for a while, occasionally you feel the coolness of the water hanging above the walking path. Some time ago, the Rosep still had a fairly straight course, so that it could quickly drain its water to the farmers' fields. Now the Rosep meanders again as usual. The route starts and ends at Boshuis Venkraai. This picturesque building is more than a century old and initially served as a forester's house.
